Inspiration & Mood-board:

In Sanskrit, laya can mean dissolution or absorption. For OMISFR, it becomes a reflection on impermanence: the forms we inhabit, the identities we hold and the possibility of letting go.

Laya explores mortality through the idea of death and rebirth. This theme echoes Bhagavad Gita 2.22, which compares the embodied self taking new bodies to a person changing garments. “Dissolve to Be Born Again” brings that reflection into a personal question: what must we release to become something new?

Skulls, dissolving faces and visions of life’s cycle shape the artwork. Flowing black illustrations and raw-edged patches carry these references across a vivid blue base. “Mortality Is the Mirror of Truth” holds the central thought: recognising life’s impermanence can bring what matters into focus.
